On behalf of one of our International Main Contractors with a presence in Hong Kong of over 30yrs and engaged on some of HK's most iconic projects we are now looking for an experienced Bid Manager to help lead the team in successfully bidding for a range of new and prestigeous land mark projects.
Job description/Highlights
10 - 15 years’ experience of Civil / Building work
Tender preparation experience required
Degree in Engineering or relevant discipline
Capable of a team in the preparation of tender process in order to ensure that tenders are submitted on time
Reviewing tender documents from an engineering perspective, provide compliant and alternative engineering solutions to ensure winning of work
Responsible for ensuring that all functions for tenders comply with the requirements of the Contract’s Requirements
Communicate with the Client on all matters concerning Bids and seek clarifications where necessary
Supporting the role out of Digital innovation in conjunction with the innovation lead and identifying new technologies
Coordinating all post bid submission processes in order to ensure successful resolution of all issues
Job Requirements
Degree holder in Building Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or relevant discipline
Minimum 10 to 15 years’ experience of complex Civil Engineering or Building Projects as a contractor or designer
Professional qualification such as HKIE membership / RPE is preferred
Knowledge of Civil and Structural engineering and design (bridges, structures etc.)
Able to handle multi-tasks under pressure and deadline
Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
